Built by an actor, for actors
Every actor knows the drill. You get a script, you need to be off book, and your scene partner is busy. You try running lines with a friend who reads in a monotone. You record yourself reading the other parts and play it back, fumbling with the pause button. You cover your lines with your hand and test yourself, but there's no one to tell you when you drop a word.
Call for Line exists because that process is broken. The app reads the other parts aloud, listens while you perform, and scores your accuracy down to the word. It does not replace a scene partner. It gives you one when you don't have one.
The app was built by an actor and developer who got tired of the workarounds. The goal was simple: build the tool he wished he had during every rehearsal process.
